i was wondering if i straightened my hair every day but i put hair grease at the ends will it prevent damage???? or if not tell me any other suggetsions but remember i have black hair

Well i am a hair stylist and what we do when they want us to straighten thier hair is we buy ion heat protector and that goes for anyones hair. Juat spray that on your hair and then straighten it. It works great and prevent hair damage. It works for my salon soo im pretty sure it will work for you.

Putting heat on your hair every day is not good for your hair. Grease doesn't do anything but weigh your hair down, so it's not really good for your hair. Try straightening your hair fewer times during the week.

i have black hair too and use a shine spray from sunsilk... you spray it on a brush and then comb in in ur hair before straightening it, less damage.... also when my hair is wet i put a shine serum and moulding mudd in it too, my hair is dyed black tho (but ive been dying it blue black for 3+ yrs)

no, but you should use pressing oil. its help straighten hair more better. so you do have to do it everyday.
