Yea so I wanna kno if black hair dye fades? and if so how fast? Also is it true that black hair dye is good for your hair?

yeah black hair dye fades to a lighter shade of black... and no.. i dont think dying your hair at all is good for it =/

all hair dye fades eventually. But the black tends to stay pretty well. Black hair color is not necessarily good for your hair. it tends to be less damaging than lightening the hair. And darker colors make the hair look fulle and shinier. Black rarely looks good if it's not what you were born with. Dark brown's more flattering.

If you want your color to fade faster use a cheap clarifying shampoo. Prell or I've even heard dish soap though i wouldn't use that.

It depends on what color you use, if you get it professionally done it will last longer, b/c they use professional hair color, not something out of the box. Also you need to use a good color treated shampoo and conditioner, it will help your color last longer. If you have highlights, it might fade out a little bit more in those areas, but sometimes it looks better b/c it gives it more dimension to your color. Good luck!

yes it fades. after a while you will get a dark brown, but it takes a very long time. its not really good for your hair, but most of the time dying your hair a darker color than your natural one can make it appear shinier and healthier, especially if you used a semi permanent dye like Clairol natural instincts.
