my hair was recently dyed toooo dark, black that is. since black hair is hard to lighten can brown highlights be put in it???

Definitley go to a professional salon because they need to strip the dyed black color and then add either another color or a toner. If you try to do this at home and youre not fast enough, your hair will break off!

if you want brown highlights with your black hair..i have a great solution..buy blonde dye..not the bleach but blonde hair dye..it wont turn blonde but brown..BECAUSE black and blonde will mix to brown

You still have to bleach highlight then use a semi permanent to tone. Brown should be able to be achieved.
