Dying black hair blonde to get hair brown.?

I'm so over having black hair, and I really want my dark brown hair back. I've dyed it three times within the past year (the last time being three months ago). I've used Color Oops on my hair twice to get rid of the black. Although it has lightened my hair a bit, it's not near where I would like for it to be. There is now some reddish tones to my hair now that I have used the Color Oops. Would dying my hair a light ash (to get rid of the red) blonde bring it to a brown?

its not going to brown its going to go orange. get a brown color.

No. Blonde hair dye does not get rid of hair dye. I think what you need to do is get a box of hair color removal. I think it's by revlon, the box is white and looks really cheesy but it really works! It's only about 7 dollars at walmart. It's going to make your hair ginger colored, then you can dye over it.

Why don't you go to a hairdresser - before your hair breaks (or worse)! I believe if you have dyed your hair with a permanent colour then you have to wait for it to grow out. If you bleach it, it will probably break or fall out. Remember Debbie Harry????
