Well, I have long black trimmed healthy naturally black hair.I wear my hair straight down.(My hair is up to my back and I keep it VERY clean!!) I usually NEVER wear my hair down. And I'm new to this school so, everyone, well to narrow it down, it's mostly the girls, are always complaining about something bad about me. There always talking about how I should put my hair up, and why do you lawasy leave it down, put it up. (And I don't like wearing it up because I just don't want to. Not that it looks bad or anything). And they're ALWAYS telling me to cut my hair and that it's too long and all that. One girl was walking behind me and she pretended to cough while saying "DEAD ENDS! DEAD ENDS!" And then another girl was like talking about "her" hair saying " I hate dead ends" and she looked at me while saying it. And I don't have any dead ends. It's like they care more about me then they do themselves. I'm trying not to let it get to me but it's hard. What do I do? I'm a very nice person.

Sounds to me like some girls are very bitchy and are just jealous. We ALWAYS want what we don't personally have. For instance, as a kid, I always envied one of my friend's beautiful strawberry blonde, thick, straight hair and blue eyes (I am a brunette, with naturally curly hair and with brown eyes). Eventually, you grow into your own skin and you realize it's all crap anyway; if you feel beautiful, you ARE beautiful inside and out. So don't let a bunch of little girls dictate how you SHOULD look, I hate that.

By saying you have dead ends, they are hoping you will cut it. Ask your mom what she thinks of your hair, and if she thinks it need a trim, but just a trim, don't cut it.
