hi, ihave naturally black hair and i'm a male...i was wondering, for some reason, my hair in some areas somewhat red. I was wondering, if i died my hair black, would it look even darker than my natural shade of black(if that is even possible, i don't know)? What products would i use?

do you have well water in your home? IF so, it may be depositing rust on your hair. I used to have that problem. People thought that I dyed a red streak down the back of my head (it was the 80's..kids did stuff like that on purpose) but it was from standing in the shower and the water running down the back of my head.
If that is the issue, getting a "malibu treatment" (salons offer them and you can do them at home as well) and that will take the rust out.
