Hair colouring for jet black hair?

I have been getting a full head of highlights foiled with three colours for 6 years and now i have moved countries and can't find a hair dresser who will do it right. they seem to want to bleach my whole hair and then colour it. It is really drying out my hair. i have naturally black hair and i don't want any coppery or red tones in it, just golden blonde, light brown and brown. is there anyone out there who knows of a hair dresser in london who can do this?

I don't know any specifically as I don't live in London but a word of advice anyway.

Hairdressing salons (as they all seem to want to do the same thing!) all follow the same basic pattern. Try to find a mobile hairdresser. They are loads cheaper and aren't afraid to break the mould like the London salons!

If you haven't tried what the salons are suggesting though, there might not be any harm in trying it! It might be a style that will really suit you!
