ok so i JUST found out that you cannot re-dye dyed black hair. I wish i knew that earlier. i have naturally black hair but its not that dark. I've had my hair brown for a long time and i decided to just dye my hair back to black. And now its way to dark. Its a very like unnatural black. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can get this fixed?I dyed it black just about 2 days ago and today i tried to dye it brown (it didn't work)...any other ideas?and if you're gunna tell me to go to a professional, tell me how much it costs at least.
I dyed my hair black...and no i can't go back.Does anybody know what i can do to make it lighter?
at walgreens, they have this hair color remover called "Color Opps"
it takes your hair back to your orginal color, and removes permanent %26amp; semi-permanent hair color
its ammonia free and bleah free, so it shouldnt ruin your hair
on the box it says it removes black hair coloring
you should go to walgreens and buy it :D
good luck [:

If you're a guy cut it off and start over.
A woman, oh girl U in trouble. Continuing to apply anything besides conditioners may make the hair fall out. Be careful in whatever you select.

it would be best if you left you hair alone for a few days more - it can only handle a couple of changes at a time. You could wash it a bit more often and leave conditioner in your hair for a bit longer. it would also be best if you go to a pro, but i dunno where you live, so cant tell you how much it might cost, lol. you could also buy another hair dye kit that contains a separate hair lightening product. but i strongly advise you to wait a least a week before doing that.

well I can tell you color dont lift color mean you cant go lighter but you already figured that one out. the best thing to do is go like to a sallys (they sell profesional products to not profesional ppl) you can go on there web sight to see if there is one by you. but they sell hair color remover, what this will do is strip the hair of the color, then after that you just dye it to the color you wanted in the first place. but I think a lot of ppl sell the removers like wal-mart. as for the professional at my salon we do color crections and they cost at least 50 to 60 depending on what we have to do.

I had heard to shampoo your hair for a few days with Perell Shampoo that washes out the hair dye. Also you may want to purchase a bottle of light brown Miss Clairol hair dye with a 30 or 40 bottle of peroxide the higher the number the lighter your hair comes out.
