There is a dominant gene and a recessive gene that each of the parents have. It just depends on which one got passed on to your son. Both my husband and I have very light blonde hair and our son was born with jet black hair (the color of my biological dad's). well my hubby and i both have brown hair,our daughter was born with black hair wich fell out and grew in blonde.my 11 month old son was born with blonde hair and is still blonde and has bright blue eyes.so what ever hair color your kid has he will have it all depends on which genes are dominant in the child.it could be a recessive trait.don't worry though i bet your baby is cute as a button although he doesn't share your hair color :)
