My hair dyed now black!!!!?

ok i naturally had brownish hair color and since no one in my family has really dark hair i decided to dye it blonde and i have been since i was 8. Peopple say im "punk/emo" but i don't care. ok now i want to let my hair grow out and it looks black. if i keep growing it out will it turn back to brown or black.

P.s I LOVE BLACK HAIR but the parents would give me whiipin if that happened to me on purpose

It'll get lighter. Your roots look black because they've had no exposure to the sun. Most people naturally have hair like this, and it's unusual for bleaching your hair to cause your natural hair to become darker.

As your hair grows out it'll gradually become brown. I'd suggest going outdoors fairly often -- my black hair became almost auburn once because I was so active.

On another note... I didn't realize bleach-blonde celebrities (Paris Hilton, Pam Anderson, etc.) were punk or emo.

personally, my hair gets a little lighter as it grows out and is exposed to the sun. I don't see why your hair would change its natural color after bleaching it. it probably just seems darker because you are so used to the blonde.
