Blonde hair or black hair?

I have natural dirty blonde hair but I have recently dyed it black. What I wonder is do guys prefer the usual preppy girl with blonde hair and cute clothes and make up nails all that, or a real girl who can go crazy but still have a great fun loving personality regardless of what she looks like (i currently have black hair with bright red in the under layer and some red streaks up front as well as black nails)

It might not be a big help, but I know that guys love confident girls. If you love your look, they will notice that. It's obvious when a girl isn't comfortable with something she's done to herself just to fit a mold.
