i understand it will be orange and weird colors i just really want my hair blonde again. my natrual hair color is a strawberry blonde, i died my hair about 4 months ago black and i have a inch of regrowth my hair is shoulder length. i want to get it professionally done but had bad experience at some places. but im willing to try it again so any recommendations? and money isnt a problem. i just want to go back to blonde, black hair just makes me look super pale.

You need to do it in a process, first go a lighter brown, and then brown with blonde, and than go blonde..

my sister was a dark brunette and she got her hair bleached and it tottaly ruined it, and she went to a really nice expensive salon, she sat in the chair from 10 in the morning till 6 at night, and her scalp was so burned from the bleach she has blisters on her head..

they stripped it, bleached it, toned it, stripped it, bleached it toned it, bleached it, toned it, and bleached it again, and toned it..i had really dark almost balck hair, and i went from that to a brown like..

then i started adding blonde streaks, and then went all blonde.. and my hair wasnt that fried, and it saved me the pain, and damage...and i reccomend you get shimmer lights purple shampoo, so when you do get your hair bleached blonde, this shampoo will take the orange yellow color out and make it more white.

also before you go back in to get it done, give your hair a month or two to fade, and use a shampoo that isnt meant to keep color in, like pantene clarifying shampoo, so your color wont be so pigmented, and it will be easier to lift.

You wont get to that kind of blonde with black hair it just doesn't happen very easily or well. deff. go to a pro on that just do research on the salon before you go. I had black stripped outta my hair and had no issues with them damaging it too bad I mean you are going to have damage because it is bleach....they of course couldn't take me blonde like I wanted but that's ok. They put me at a lighter brown told me to wait about 3-6 months and then do really heavy blone highlights ....and to just keep doing that and eventually you will be blonde.
