Its not growing in fast enough i need a little help. I tried dying it blonde but it didn't work. I need something that will strip my hair, but i cannot seem to find anything, HELP

man i did that too back in october, i dye my hair black cause i wanted to go as the grudge... i should of bought the wig.

but i was lucky that my mom is an hairstylist. cause otherwise i would of never got rid of that curse nightmare.

here are some tips:

*DAWN DISH SOAP*- MUST BE DAWN for some reason this helps strip it or weaken it. watch out though, try to wash just the black part more and avoid the root area, it will catch it a little. but this works just about the same as those stripers and actully is a little more safer cause it doesnt damage that much like those other products.

*DO NOT DYE YOUR HAIR LIGHTER*do not try to dye your hair with a lighter color cause it wont work. black catches so strong and it wont work. also remember any type of dyeing to your hair, u must wait at lest a week before dyeing or any type like this. give time for your hair to breath cause you can also fry your scalp and really your hair will fall out if you keep dying or striping over and over with in 24hrs.... not good.

*CONDITION HAIR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE*- for any type of dying, the best results happens if your hair is healthy. cause if not it will fry really bad and thats not good. a good thing is that when you wash your hair, after shampooing, leave the conditioner in for at lest 5-10mins, i put my hair in a shower cap as it condition when i shower then after i wash my body and so, i take it out of the cap then rinse it.

***HIGHLIGHTS***- this is the best way to get that damn black hair out. i did mine in feb. cause i did that same mistake of coloring it blond and i bet you have blond roots and black hair. awful huh. now cause of how strong the black dye catch, dyeing with another color wont work. the only way to make it look and grow natural is highlites. it will blend and well look at my pic.

Now i was lucky cause of my mom, but you do need someone who knows how to do highlights to do this. the cap is the best and what i did was skinny highlites 1st, then wait a week then i did chunky. If you have a red tone i suggest ash tone highlights. If you do know someone whos in beauty school they might help, or go to SALLY'S and ask them, sometime there might be someone there that can do it cheap.

*HAIRCUT*- now im not talking shaving but what helpd me the most was that i trim my hair, mostly the split ends. also it help that i had shorter hair cause the dye and highlights caught easily cause theres not so much hair. Shoulder leigth is good but the longer the hair the harder to get out.

I hope i help ya alittle cause yeah the saying "ONCE YOU GONE BLACK YOU CAN NEVER GO BACK" i know now it applys to hair.

if you have any other questions or help, just email me and i will be happy to help you out of that night mare.

normally i would tell you something to do at home but since you said your hair is naturally blonde a lot of hair stripper you can buy over the counter will damage it. I would suggest going to a salon and having them use a color remover this will remove the artifical pigment but leave your natural alone. a stripper is a strong bleach solution that will bleach away they black into eating way at your hair. Please for the sake of your hair go to a salon!

Unless you have training or one heck of allot of experience I would not suggest trying this on your own. You can make your problem allot bigger than just having two tone hair.

If you do try this at home be sure to not get any of the removal product on the new hair growth or anywhere near the head. The new hair will strip fast and probably turn white wince your blond.

I would not bother with anything you can buy at walmart or drug stores. They will not be strong enough to work properly and all you will do is create damaged or weakened hair. If you weaken the hair it will be harder to get it fixed later as the hair might not be able to hold up the process.

Try Sallys or a store that sells salon grade hair supplies. Wellite is a good brand to look into.

I've dyed my hair black a few times and ended up having it stripped. This is not a easy process even for a pro. You might consider looking for cosmetology schools near you. They often offer services at major discounts.

Good luck.
