Black Hair Care Products Question?

Why do most black hair care products have petroleum or mineral oil?

I mean like, If we all know it clogs the hair folicles and stunts hair growth and to ignore hair products with the stuff in them...Then why do the manufactures of these items continue to add petroleum and mineral oil?

Black Hair Care Products Question?

THEY ARE inexpensive ingredients....and unfortunately the majority of companies.....do not hire the caliber of chemist or pay for levcel of ingredient they need.....

there is a wonderful line that you should try that is owned by a chemist and he doesn't put those ingrdients in the products and they all ROCK....anything you buy from them is wonderful and you can get it many places online

Avlon Industries KERA CARE....

Black Hair Care Products Question?

Black hair is naturally very dry and needs lots of moisture, whereas white hair produces an over abundant amount of oil and needs help removing the excess oil. Don't like this? Ask God why he/she made our hair like that.

Black Hair Care Products Question?

thank you! ive been asking the same question for so long. The reason I believe they contain so much petroletum is because while it clogs hair follicles and pores and inhibits growth, they retain the moisture need for black hair also petroletum is tough against heat. Black ppl (mainly women) need to give up the cheap blue magic and invest in better products.

Black Hair Care Products Question?

Because for every one person like yourself who is informed, there are one million uninformed consumers that will buy their product because it promises shine and managability, or because its cheaper, or because it is packaged cute, or because it was convenient to find in their favorite store...I think you get the picture.
