So I died my hair black back in October, and it has deff. faded since then, it was Jet black, and now its just really dark black and really dark reddish brown in the bright light.

But I hate the black, so does anyone know ways to help it fade faster? Any tricks? Or should I just die it back light, or will that not work? Help please!!!

Im open to anything, even if I didn't mention something that you know about, please let me know!

Really cheap shampoo can sometimes help, the grainy stuff, but keep in mind it also ruins your hair

Black hair is very hard to go lighter with. You can try to put leave in conditioner mixed with lemon juice in your hair and sit in the sun with it for a while before you rinse it out. Try to go to a salon and get it procced a shade lighter. Avoid shampoos for color treated hair, Anyother product you could try is called Color Oops by Loreal. It helps reverse the effects of dyed hair. It will not completly rid the hair of the color, but it will help a lot(Ive used it) Good luck!

Please please don't but lemon juice in your hair unless you want some horrible shade worse than black. Your best bet is to try a detoxifying shampoo made to cleanse hair of chlorine or hard water build-up. It should help to fade the color out a bit more. However, it can only do so much. If you're looking for something more than a shade or 2 lighter I'd recommend going to a professional.

Sunlight dishsoap. Just remember to wash it with normal shampoo and conditionar after. Also shampoo with sulfate is supposed to make hair dye fade faster.
