What do you think of Jet Black hair?

What do you think of jet black hair with a brown skin tone? I am black and I wanted to dye my hair jet black becuase it's dark brown now.I got my inspiration to from all the other beautiful black women with jet black hair,so I'm thinking maybe this look will work.I really wanted to dye it black because of Aaliyah and she's like my idle,Jada Pinkett Smith is pretty with jet black hair,Gabby(Gabielle Union),LisaRaye,it goes on and on.Dont think of this as a racial thing,but since I am black and so are all of these other beautiful women who look good in black hair,it just gave me an idea? So tell me what do you think of jet black hair.If you got something bad to say then DONT ANSWER AT ALL,BECASUE I'M STILL DYING MY HAIR

I think it will look great. Just be careful if you plan to do it yourself. Make sure you get a good shade of black so it doesn't have a purple or blue tint. I recommend going to a beauty supply store (Sally, etc) and asking one of their staff for the best option. Good luck!

Aaliyah has beautiful hair, if you think it will look good on you too then go for it. Since your hair is already dark brown I don't think you will look strange with it.

With a brown skin tone, I think it's fine. If you were a really pale white, then I would have been like, "Oh god no" because that's just a mess. But jet black with a brown skin tone is a good mixture.

I have yet to see someone who has colored their hair black %26amp; have it look natural. It's your hair but I would stick with brown tones.
