Why is black hair always left out?

Honestly, black hair is always left out of everything. Its always the battle between blondes, brunnettes, and redheads. Is it because people know that black hair is so beautiful that it has no other competition? Really, some of the most beautiful women in the world are black haired, yet people with black hair don't even have one of those nickname thingies like brunnette for brown hair or redhead for red hair. Is it because people are just jealous of it?

Why is black hair always left out?

While I agree with you that many people that have black hair are beautiful, there is no reason you have to say most blondes are stuck up for no reason. I'm a blonde (Natural, but I have been every color of the rainbow when it comes to hair), and I have a few friends that are blondes, and none of us are stuck up in the least bit. I know it's dumb that people are leaving black haired beauties out, but there's no need to insult other haircolors. They are just as beautiful. Leaving that aside, it may be because there are very few people with black hair, since most people just have very dark brown. There aren't many nicknames that do black hair justice, but just recently I thought of calling them midnight brunettes. Just be happy that you are unique enough not to have a million jokes or stereotypes about you, and enjoy being born with natural, dark, beautiful tresses.

Why is black hair always left out?

TRUE! AGREED! i have black hair : )

Why is black hair always left out?

ily for ur question. i have black hair and wonder the same thing! thank you for caring =)

Why is black hair always left out?

Do you want to be called a blackhead? I think that would insult people more than anything.

Why is black hair always left out?

there isn't such a thing as truly black hair. it's actually extremely dark brown.

Why is black hair always left out?

wow. i tottaly agree with u all the way. I have black hair too. (i'm japanese) maybe it's cuz not alot of people in the USA have black hair. We do need a nickname for black haired ppl. All the other hair colors get one why shouldn't we?

Why is black hair always left out?

Because very few people have BLACK hair, most have dark dark brown, unless you dyed it. I think it is still considered brunette

Why is black hair always left out?

I've always noticed that!! I don't have black hair, mines red. Anyway, idk why people leave out black hair. I wish I had black hair. :'(...

Why is black hair always left out?

Actually, I have found that redheads are left out almost as often as those with black hair, and red hair seems to be disliked more for some reason. I'm not exactly sure why black hair is left out, although some will argue that black hair isn't truly black but very dark brown, which may be the case. My feeling on that though is that if you have to hold a strand of a person's hair up to the light to see any brown in it because it's so dark then it should be called black. Most black hair that is dyed that way has a blue tone when held to the light and examined, so is it really a dark blue? It doesn't make sense to me. It's not like it's a big deal anyway. I happen to think naturally black hair can be just as beautiful as any other haircolor though. I have and I love it. ;)

Why is black hair always left out?

I've always thought that black hair fell under the realm of brunette. Brunette simply means "dark-haired" and isn't relegated to just brown hair.

Edit: Oh, and a retarded nickname for blondes would be "toe-head." Do you really want to be thought of as having a toe for a head?

Why is black hair always left out?

Haircolor does not define who you are. Yes, there are stereotypes about haircolor, but at the very core of things, you define who you are and what you want to stand for. It's not fair to say that people are a certain way because they have a certain hair color, especially now, when anyone can achieve any haircolor just by picking up a plastic bottle and a pair of latex gloves. As for the nickname, make something up(that sounds nice) and spread its usage. The english language is always evolving and change happens all the time. There are plenty of words in the dictionary now that were not there before. If it matters that much. As far as the why part of your question, my answer is that it has to do with the language and how it has evolved because society plays a large role in it's development. In the US most people did not have black hair, so terms were never coined. Nowadays, that's different. More people have black hair, we have just yet to coin that phrase. I mean, for example, most people living in Hong Kong do not have blonde, or brown, or red hair. Therefore, the terms, or nicknames for these have not been made in the Chinese language, or if they exist they're not in my vocabulary, so correct me. But that's my theory as to "why" there is no term for people with black hair. Then again, it could all be a conspiracy! : )

Why is black hair always left out?

It is probably because most people with black hair are ethnic.

Why is black hair always left out?

No.

I think that people just only care about blonde hair.

Why is black hair always left out?

are u blackhaired? anyway this is a nice concern.

u should probably know that the second haired chinese lady is not beautiful but i'm not saying it's because she has black hair, i have it to.

Anyway blackhaired girls and men are hot, but there also pretty good blondes. brunnetes and red haired looking people out their.

I don't think we are been discriminated because a lot of celebreties have black hair, people have dyed their hair black because it's a good colour, maybe it's just the people u have around u that r like that

Why is black hair always left out?

I always thought that brunnette includes black hair. I guess it doesn't. I wouldn't want to be called a "blackhead" though. That's a skin blemish. Wikipedia calls us an "extremely dark" brunettes.

Initially, I thought that when you said black hair that you meant "African American" hair, but I see now that you are tallking about having black hair color versus African American hair texture. Black hair does indeed have a nickname--RAVEN-HAIRED--named so after the famous blackbird with the shiny ebony feathers. I think that black hair is often left out because it is usually linked with the brunettes or women with genuinely ebony locks are very rare indeed.
