Black hair to brown hair. if u stumble upon this please answer?

If your hair is black then you are going to have to go to a salon so they can put some highlights in the top and tone them to a light brown (thats how the picture has been done) i deffinently wouldnt recommend trying to do this yourself any color you put in is not going to really make a defference if you try going lighter yourself you will just do damage to your hair im a stylist and i suggest leaving this one to a hairdressor good luck!

I would probably wait a few weeks, at least a couple of days. Dying your hair straight in a row doesn't seem like it could be too good for your hair. It also depends on how long you want to live with the black hair. If you hate it so much that you are willing to face the consequences of changing the color right away, go right ahead. It's your call.

Well ther are other thins besinds just a all over brown going on is this picture. I reccomend taking the picture with you to see a stylist. I also reccomed going to Redken.com and looking for a Redken Certified Colorist in your city. They can make that look happen for you

Dying your hair too frequently, especially with permanent colours, can damage and dry out your hair, and will give you more of a problem than your jet black hair. So, wait at least 2-4 weeks before heading back to get your hair re-dyed. If you're unsure when to get it re-dyed, or how to remove the black dye if that is possible, ask your hairdresser at any time.

Next time, try a dye that comes out in 10-12 washes. If you don't like the colour, it will come out a lot easier, and if you do, you can buy a permanent dye in the same shade/colour. I recommend Loreal Colour Pulse. Loreal also has a wide variety of permanent dyes, so if you do like the colour, you can probably find the same one in the permanent section. Or, just try highlights (less daring) or ask your hairdresser to pick a colour or shade that will look nice on you and dye your hair for you.

Good luck!

XOXO,

Laurie

Do you mean the light brown streaks in the picture. You may should call a professional immediately for an assessment. Find the best colorist in your area. Spending a little more money now for an expert opinion is worth it because too much coloring and bleaching can make your hair fall out. If you have hair that is already chemicallly processed - permed or relaxed- you should definitely get an evaluation. It just depends on your texture and whether you hair can handle the stripping process. Once again, please see a professional- do not take the random advice of people who have not seen your hair.

You have to strip the color out. maybe you could leave it black on the bottom or underneath and then lighten just the top part so that you could make that part brown and then put high lights in the top part as well. Another option is to just let the black grow out,but start coloring your roots chocolate brown.Of course the bottom will still be black, but the chocolate brown will blend. You would also want to keep getting trims to remove the black as fast as possible. If you get layers that will remove the black even faster. Please don't do anything to your hair your self, have a professinal colorist do it. Good luck
